About Us

Centro de Vida y Esperanza  Church History

C.V.E. was founded by Pastor Lyla Grimm in October 2004. She had a vision of outreach from the very beginning and has a special passion for serving the unchurched in the english speaking and hispanic community. Pastor Grimm is an anointed servant of God. For more than 15 years she has effectively ministered throughout the Pacific Northwest and other countries in mission outreach. In 2004 God placed a vision in her heart to start Centro de Vida y Esperanza, a bi-lingual Hispanic/English church where she shares her deep love, passion, and commitment to the Thurston County community. She has two grown children, four grandchildren and she lives in Lacey, Washington.  Under Pastor Grimm's leadership, Centro de Vida y Esperanza founded the Hope Ministry Food Bank, which has been expanding in the Thurston County Washington community.

The ministry of Pastor Grimm is highlighted through the word of God which is powerful in declaration and central to her message.  Sensitive to the needs of the audience, Pastor Grimm reaches out to the hurting and those who need spiritual encouragement as she ministers the love of Jesus Christ.

Centro de Vida y Esperanza - Loving God, Loving People

Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
2 Corinthians 11:29
